I've been reading Tammy's Kitchen Tip Tuesdays for quite a while, so I figured I should go ahead and contribute! Here goes:
When you cook meals in bulk and you're ready to freeze your extra meals, place your labeled plastic bag in a tall crock or pitcher*. Fold the top couple of inches of the bag over the top of your pitcher, then use a large ladle to get the food from your pot/pan/dish into the baggie. No mess!
After that, take the filled bag out of the pitcher, get the extra air out (I suck it out with a straw), zip it up, and place it flat on a cookie sheet. If you have lots of meals to freeze, stack 'em all up on top of each other. Once they're frozen, you can remove your cookie sheet and rearrange your meals in the freezer.
*The pitcher shouldn't be too wide at the top, otherwise your bad won't fit around it!

Welcome!
Thanks for the tip! I don't do a lot of freezer meals but this is something that I will keep in mind when I do them! :)
